Our clinic is conveniently located on the 2nd floor of the Market Pavilion building in the Marketplace neighbourhood of Whistler Village at 4368 Main Street unit 209, which is less than a minute off the Sea to Sky Highway (99) via either Vilage Gate Boulevard or Lorimer Road. Our building has elevator access which can be accessed between Quantum Health and Back In Action Physiotherapy. Once on the 2nd floor you can enter the building through either external door and the Whistler Wellness entrance is located between FYIDoctors Optometry and Mountain Skills Academy. Our clinic has its own washroom.
Parking is available either on Main Street or in the large Marketplace parking lot in front of Fresh Street Market. Both options are pay parking and can be paid for (and extended) with the PayByPhone app.
Yes Whistler Wellness accepts and direct bills all extended health providers that allow for it. The insurers we provide this for are SunLife, Manulife, Chamber of Commerce, Canada Life, Pacific Blue Cross, Greenshield, Medavie Blue Cross, Desjardins and Equitable Life...in addition to all other insurers covered by the Telus eClaims. New patients can enter their insurance information (insurer, group/plan # and policy/ID #) online when creating their profile in the Whistler Wellness Jane app. With direct insurance billing we typically receive an immediate answer for amount covered and patients only have to pay any remaining balance for their appointment.
Acupuncture, Registered Massage Therapy, Chiropractic and Naturopathic Medicine are our services that are typically covered by extended health insurance plans.
Yes we encourage this! Our clinic has several types of practitioners who work collaboratively. Often patients have health concerns that require care from more than 1 of the healthcare services Whistler Wellness offers, which can be scheduled back to back when available.
